Robert Segat is Program Director, Global Industry Solutions for Teradata Corporation. He is responsible for network intelligence solutions within the communications industry.
Segat joined Teradata in 2005. Before he was an International Senior Business Consultant for The Management Network Group (TMNG) focused on Revenue Management and Business Process Improvement. TMNG is a highly regarded international telecommunications management consulting firm. Previously, he was Vice President of Revenue Operations for Birch Telecom, a competitive local exchange (CLEC) business in the Midwest and Southeast regions. Robert has also worked for AT&T and Sprint in management positions.
In his current position, Segat with a team of Teradata consultants and partners deliver business value through enterprise data warehousing, leading best practices plus business consulting tools and methodologies worldwide.
Segat has over 31 years hands-on experience managing projects and organizations in the telecommunications and management consulting service industries. He brings senior management experience leading departments responsible for OSS/BSS applications and revenue assurance of wireline, wireless, and broadband services. He specializes in defining business strategies and planning/developing the needed business solutions that result in viable and sustainable initiatives for service delivery and revenue management.
Segat holds a BSBA in Computer Science from Kansas State University of Pittsburg and graduate studies at Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri.
